How Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Living Saved Me
I’m a wife, mom to three (plus two fur babies), lover of travel and coffee!
I’m also a health coach, housekeeper, friend, sister, homeschool teacher, chef extraordinaire, bedtime reader…I’ve got a lot on my plate.
I had big dreams, but I knew I had to start small (Rome wasn’t built in a day, right?). Incorporating small accessible actions that made ME feel alive, happy, and fulfilled made me realize how desperately this part of myself needed attention.
You know what happens when you pay attention to that little voice inside that wants to dream?
You find energy and connection – with yourself and those around you.
You realize health doesn’t have to feel like a chore – it’s actually exciting!

Finding My Path to a Joyfully-Aligned Life
Health is in my roots – it’s been a part of me for as long as I can remember.
I’m fascinated by the way our bodies are designed to function and survive. I’ve spent most of my life noticing things others could do differently that would make a big impact on their health.
I’ve always put my health to the test – I never took sick days, even as a kid. I was constantly critiquing and advising my parents on their daily habits with eating and exercise (Yes, I was that kid…).
With 10 years of experience in holistic health coaching, I create personalized, low-stress plans that give you the opportunity to navigate life in a healthier, clearer mind space.
No drill sergeant here. The one thing you don’t need is more stress and guilt in your life!
And I promise I’ll never tell you you can’t have your morning coffee!
In college, I studied cultural anthropology where I spent lots of time traveling and exploring new cultures. This gave me powerful insight on rhythms around food and life – what made these cultures thrive as healthy, vibrant people. It was eye-opening, to say the least.
And then the kids came. Oh, my lovely, beautiful kids. Have I mentioned they’re the center of my world?
I loved them so much. But I felt like my personal life was over. Done.
Taking care of myself just seemed impossible so I did what most mothers do… I pushed myself to the backburner. This “why bother” mentality is one of the worst mindsets I could have adopted. It sent me into a spiral of bad habits, fatigue, mental stress, and an exhausting life that didn’t fill me up.
This was my rock bottom, and it made me realize I had to do something if I wanted to show up in my own life – for myself and for my people.
So I pursued a degree from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a certified integrative health coach. My time studying and realigning my own life helped me develop the concept of health as a whole-body experience – heart, soul, and mind.
Even as a coach, I’ve continued my education in specialized topics surrounding holistic health. I’ve taken a multitude of courses and classes on hormonal issues, gut health, and personal exploration.
All to bring more value to you, as my client.
